Little Shadow — The Heavy Safe

Too bad your boss isn't here and I'm running out of patience. Last time my father pissed me off, my bullet grazed his ear. Want to see if my aim's gotten better? Valentina turned and I raised my pistol and fired. The bullet struck the floor right in front of her. Why are you running? Aren't you supposed to be good at taking care of people?

start by taking care of my mood I'll pick them up I'll do it that one's dirty wipe it and be careful with the emerald you couldn't afford it if I sold everything you own Valentina finally finished cleaning up she stood trembling with rage Don DeLucia hates violent women when he comes back he'll throw you out himself tell him to get in line there are plenty of people waiting

for me to deal with them he's never home anyway he might be waiting a while valentina stormed out nico quietly picked up the safe and started carrying it upstairs i didn't rush him i followed a few steps behind when we reached his room he suddenly pushed the safe into my arms it's all yours can you please not hit me and not send me away i held the heavy safe in my arms and

and for a moment, memories from my childhood came rushing back. After my adoptive parents had a son of their own, they threw me out.
